Heidi David - Writer-Designer
Hi, I'm Heidi. After more than a decade producing commercials for companies like Kraft and AT&T, now I use my creative skills, and big picture marketing perspective to create distinctive websites that tell compelling brand stories.
When it comes to advertising there are a lot of cooks in the kitchen, each one with a different creative opinion. Those independent thinkers need lots of help realizing a collective vision. A producer learns quickly how to pivot fast on her feet and problem solve her way to a successful, cohesive commercial.
Not all my ad agency experiences were that surreal. But each one informed my set of cross disciplinary marketing skills. This problem-solving background is a tremendous advantage for my freelance clients as I am able to view assignments with a wide lens, creating an ideal marriage between art and copy.
Need a creative partner to help strategize next steps on your project? Let me design a master plan for you. Want a website? Not a problem. Wish you had a custom logo for your new venture? I can help you with that. Looking for some killer copy to seal the deal? Consider it done. Think of me as your very own online presence therapist. Have a piece of chocolate, lie down on the virtual couch, and tell me what's going on.
It's so stressful, right? You want to sell a thing, promote a thing, raise money for a thing. But who has time? And everyone's online. You can't just pretend they're not and hope it will all go away. Besides, that idea you've worked so hard to create deserves to see the light of day. Doesn't it? That's why I'm in the business of helping you tell your story.
As a creative content marketer I understand how to position your message. I draw on my background as an experienced advertising professional to create everything from websites, to landing pages, to social media assets. In addition, I’m a novelist and short story writer.
Here's a social media campaign I wrote and designed that's got me all excited. Here's a sample fundraising letter I created for my favorite non-profit. And here's a piece of my short fiction if you're curious.
Wondering where to start on a new website?
